So, with a New Year only hours away....

What are your collecting aspirations for the New Year??

Mine are as follows:

Complete league, FA and League Cup Fixtures for Leeds homes back to and including 1954/55 - Need around 20.

Make an indent into Aways for seasons 60/61 to 63/64 although this could be an expensive choice.

Pick up any Home friendly and WR issue I don't have. (Again expensive)

Add at least 2 homes to the 7 47/48 homes I already have. (Again expensive)

Aside from collecting but in the same topic, I want to build a website similar to the ones other members have built to showcase my collection and other peoples collection of Leeds memorabilia.
There are some very impressive sites out there that have lead to this decision

For once and for all stop messing about with deciding what to collect again.

After selling all my programmes about 12 years ago now and regretting it ever since all i've done is amble from one thing to another without really thinking too much as i've done it and ended up disposing of them when i've sat down and looked at them thinking why did I start Sad . Now its time to go back to the roots and get back to collecting Albion stuff (with a sideline in Oldbury United and Malaga) starting with homes only and whatever aways I pick up along the way.

Hopefully in 12 months time I will have the same enthusiasm.

I have a good 10/12 recent homes that I set aside for another collector on here, who then let me down, plus I am sure I have more, all at £1 each, so let me know if you want a list.

Hoping to get the fifteen league programmes I need to complete all of Havant & Waterlooville's League programmes home and away, then its on to the Cups of which I need fourteen and finally to find out how many of the sixteen friendlies I need were actually issued.

Then there's always Waterlooville and Havant Town to build on.

As it is the last day of the year I'd thought I would evaluate my own targets....

All league and Cup homes up to and including 54/55 - Complete

Aways 60/61 - Abandoned

Home Friendly & WR Cup - picked up a few but not as many as I would have liked.

Homes 47/48 - 6 added, musn't grumble

Additionally I have added a 4 homes from 46/47 and the icing on the cake, a home pre-war!!

Website - created and happy with design, content not complete and needs work!!

All in all, not a bad year from a collecting aspect......

I will try to find a few more of my wants but know that it will not be easy as they are too expensive but will keep trying.

The main thing I want to do is make a real go at sorting out the thousands of progs in my celler. Get them listed in my shop on this site.
This year I have sorted and listed about 6,000.
Only about another 80,000 to go.
With a bit of luck some of them will fill gaps in the collections of people on here.
