Just realised there was no thread on here on the Sportingold auction held yesterday.A superb speech given by the late Chris Williams son,Ollie before the auction commenced.
There were some really strong prices which were mainly due to a serious Arsenal collection and to a lesser extent a pretty strong Southampton collection.
Just a relatively small Manchester United section but some quality nevertheless including the Manchester United v Stoke from 1946/47.Played midweek it was United's lowest post war crowd of only 7800 and the records show that only 2864 programmes were printed,due to a paper shortage.
This sold for over £4000 including premium which is a significant increase on all achieved earlier prices.
Clearly the hobby is alive and kicking

I was linked up the The Saleroom and watched the speech by Ollie. Superb, and in such difficult circumstances.
