Thank you for your comments Andy. Being a resident in the City for many years I should have been aware of the fact that Stoke on Trent became a City in 1925, hence the name of Stoke without the City in 1919. we learn a lot from our hobby, full of interest and who knows what is around the corner next. Very few youngsters coming into our collecting hobby and really hard to attract new custom, unless you have something unusual, different. But a day on the stall at Newcastle under Lyme on a Thursday is still very worthwhile, even though there is very little financial gain.
