Help with postcards - Derby??

Attached are two postcards. A note with them says says "Derby County 1929".

Can any members confirm is this is true and, if so, who the players are? The one with the three "players" was taken by the Diana Studio, Over Carlton Shoe Shop, 48 St Peter St., Derby.

Looks like Sammy Crooks in the centre of the three, Martin.

I'll look back at a few old team photos of the time to try + identify the other two for you.

Didnt Derby have a player from 1930 named Tommy Cooper ?

Yep. Full back. 15 caps for England.

Died in 1940 in a motorcycle accident at the age of 35.

Thanks for the replies so far. Another contact has suggested the others are Peter Ramage and Jack Bowers but I have no period photos to confirm this so any help / confirmation will be appreciated.
