Private Sellers / Part Time Dealers / Dolers /
Seem to get all the perks on Ebay.
Where as Registered Business + Tax payers get nothing Crying or Very sad

My thoughts exactly!

What with the 10% FVF + the new 10% p&p sting + the Paypal 3.4% + 20p per transaction.... it doesn't make life very easy.
Which is one of the reasons why I have nothing listed, at the moment at any rate.

And yes I know eBay is running a business not a charity... blah blah blah

Unless I have misinterpreted your post LCFC I don't understand your response to bazzas point that private sellers get all the perks.

The fees you've quoted (including the latest e-bay rip off) are paid by private sellers.

But I get taxed on my salary each month and have to pay eBay fees if I want to list outside the free listing weekends, if lets say the listing cost me a pound, that pound I pay is post income tax... I don't get a discount on income tax or my £6k plus train-fare a year.....


Lets face it, if we work for a living we are guaranteed to get screwed by the government in some shape or form....

PS Bazza - for a small fee (less than eBay charge you, you can list via my account) Cool
