Following on from my visit to the National Football Museum today and my thread on the same subject.

How many clubs have their own museums? Are they any good?

Wolves are supposed to be putting one into the new Stan Cullis stand, but no real details yet

Went to Arsenal's one in the North Bank Stand at Highbury. I'd be suprised if they don't have one at the Emirates.

Also done Barcelona, Ajax, the old National one at Preston, and the stuff they had on the tour of Old Wembley.

New Wembley has loads of stuff on display, I presume this forms part of their tour.

Oh and Palace had one for 6 months in Croydon Library during the centenary season of 2005/6, but it was just stuff from fans collections. Was good but obviously no longer there.

I am involved with the Hibernian Historical Trust who look after the Hibs archive.

Not a museum as such but put items on display in, and give tours of Easter Road.

We also look to acquire items of interest. Our major acquisition of late being the medals of the late Gordon Smith who had the unique distinction of winning 5 Scottish League titles with 3 scottish clubs (Hibs, Hearts and Dundee)

Our website is -

Wolves Museum will be open in the Stan Cullis Stand from 24/11/12. £7 Shocked admission for non-season ticket holders etc seems a bit steep to me though. Some 20,000 item are supposedly on display there. Might be worth a look in if you're in Wolverhampton though, cos there not a lot else here Crying or Very sad

Despite the risk of the ABUs saying I am biased ,I must say the Manchester United Museum is well worth a visit. Also if visiting Manchester ,the Football museum @Urbis ,nr Victoria Station ,is also a good venue. On a recent visit to Barcelona ,the Stadium tour ,and trophy room /museum was well worth a visit too!
