There was a programme produced for the Barnsley v Everton game on 19 April 1946 which I have in my collection. Do you know what competition the 18 March 1946 game was, I don't have any details on that one.

I've had a look at the programme, and the date on the front page is Good Friday 19 April 1946. Everton also played on 20 April and then the return game against Barnsley on 22 April. Imagine the moaning if the fixtures were like that now! No mention of a game on 18 March, but as there was a lot of unofficial games played around this time I guess it's possible they could've played in a minor competition or friendly.

No, only got a list of the 45/6 season that programmes were issued for, taken from the Toffee Pages book. Apart from that only got a list of the ones that I have programmes for, not a list of all games. There's a member on this forum andy1966 who has a flickr page which has pictures of programmes from this era - http://www.flickr.com/photos/bob_latchford/collections/ - some great pics to look through and see what's out there.

I have looked at the Breedon Everton - A Complete Record, it has all the Wartime games in there. That's where I got my list from.

These are my wartime teamsheets for Everton games.

The ones on Flickr are the only ones I have. from 43-44 onwards are easier to find. Earlier war years don't come around too often
