Eintracht Frankfurt v Rangers 59/60 European Cup semi final there is a blue issue (I've got this one) and an orange issue. As far as I know the colour is the only difference. I know it's a different area but a slight oddity, probably not that uncommon is that I have a version of the Davie Cooper testimonial programme where the advert on the inside back cover is, there is just a blank page. |

I have two programmes for Aldershot v Spurs 1944, one is green and the other is red. I think in tis case the printers used tow different rolls of paper. I wonder if this happened with other wartime programmes? |

Is a different colour a genuinely different cover? After all the printing is the same!
Hereford Reading 72/3 1st home in League Green and Blue
Oxford Crewe 62/3 1st season in League red beige and pink
Oxford Newport 2013/14 20 yes 20 different covers - same player each sponsor had just 20 issued but only to them with their logo on his shirt.
There's a Cardiff Leyton Orient 60's which has black around the name of the recently deceased City chair but some were printed before without it. |

A good point slightfold. In the Aldershot case it was definitely a case of the paper running out in mid print run. From 1940/41 onwards the Aldershot programmes were printed in a variety of colours from beige to pink. I think that what happened was that whatever paper John Drew had lying around was used for the programme. I am unaware, but it doesn't mean it didn't happen during the war of other clubs where the colour would change from beige to blue between games |

At that time Rovers progs came in different colours. Imagine you are right Shotsman in that when the paper ran out they used whatever came to hand.
Personaly I don't count these as different programmes. _________________ I am not gas, I am a Pirate.

Most interesting this thread.
Have collected Aston Villa programmes for 30 years but never come across this "phenomenon" before (apart from different coloured team sheets).
Does anyone know of any "double covers" involving a Villa game? |

I think I remember reading on this very forum about Burnley doing 'gold' ones for the odd game when they were in the Prem (3/4 years ago?) |
We did it three times - against Manchester United (our first home game), Blackburn Rovers (used to be our biggest rivals ) and Tottenham Hotspur (our last game). They were selling on the day for £15.00 each, but I have managed to get all three for a total of £17.00. |

Does anybody know if Norwich produced 2 different covers for all their home games during the 2010/11 season? |

Re norwich 10/11 I am pretty sure we only did it for that game. May have been one other but sure it was no more than that. |

Huddersfield produced the same programme with different colours against Leeds in 2009/10... White, yellow and red.
Anyone know why?
If it was only against Leeds and Norwich that's a good guess as to whom was getting promoted that season.... _________________ Nuts and Bolts Web Design

Thank you, BAZZABAGGIES. Never seen that before.
It looks like a graphic/printing error.
Do you know if it is (very) rare? |

I have a pair of programmes from Kilmarnock v Aberdeen from the late 90s with a similar printing error. There are no match details on the cover, and no team line-ups on the back page.
I'll try to dig them out the loft and post pictures or scans soon. |
