As far as I am aware, the only England homes that hard to come by since 1966 are the said Bulgaria issue (why it should fetch top dollar, who knows) and the Switzerland game in Euro '96. |

Can confirm this one goes for a nice some, a friend in the village went and got me a programme.
sold it on eBay about a year ago for around 80 quid, think 150 quid is a bit optimistic.... _________________ Nuts and Bolts Web Design

Yes normally goes for about £80 on ebay.
Its rare because it was a low crowd and a low print run. |

Bad luck, Dookie.
Sounds like you are well and truly Bulgared...
By the way, when I get half a chance I'll have you weeping again with some news about a Redhill programme I found in my collection. You, too, I'm afraid, Marco. I'll post it on the other thread sometime. |

No, it's versus Old Etonians at the Kennington Oval 1887. |

No, that Redhill v Old Etonians is one of only three I am missing from The Oval that season 1887/88 (being a Surrey Member, of course)....unless you mean the 1886/87, Auchentoshan, which, of course, I have...
Actually it is Redhill v Barclay's Bank 1930/31 in the Hospital Cup. No lesser Millwall legend than Ernie Toser was playing for Redhill that day - he went on to be on the books at Millwall for eleven years and appear in just two League games, neither of which they lost. Which must be some kind of record.
Redhill were second to bottom in the Athenian. The programme writer must have been massively popular in the home dressing room: "Well, we've all got in the frame of mind of turning up here and expecting Redhill to be beaten. We are seldom disappointed." Classic.
To be honest, Marco, I wasn't sure if I had a Redhill pre-war or not. Just kind of thought I did, but hadn't seen it for a few years. As you know my Surrey stuff is a very secondary collection. |

That is a classic quote, and sounds like a great programme to have! I've never seen a pre war Redhill programme before. This fixture from 1887, are you sure it is the same Redhill FC, as i'm pretty sure Redhill formed in 1894? |
You are correct in your asumption that Redhill were formed in 1894.
