Personally I hate to give valuations . People are offended if you don't say what they want to hear, Full Stop. Even if you give a polite answer. I really don't know why this guy saw a Hull programme and thought a Liverpool programme would be worth the same. Surely a ten minute search would have given him a better idea. BUT, as I have already said. People do not want to hear the truth, they want to hear that the programme they have is worth a fortune.

I don't think there was anything in the OP's posts that suggested any of that, to be fair.

You said there were a lot of naive people on this thread, a bit of a strong accusation to make. What are they being naive about, and how does their naivety impact this forum?

And the OP appears! I couldn't find the site name again and couldn't remember it, which is the reason I've not posted. A notification of replies was also going to my junk mail in my emails and not to my inbox, another reason I haven't replied.
The item IS mine, I'm just guessing on value and what it actually is. I have NO IDEA. I'm a 19 year old lad from Leeds who has found this programme in his uncles basement. I'm a huge football fan and wondered if it was worth anything as it interested me due to the date and maybe if there was some history of it. YES I was looking to get some money for it and YES I did want a FREE valuation. I had no idea some of you would start crying about it as I've never branched out to this forum before. I haven't read all the comments, I got half way through the second page and found some of the comments childish and unnecessary.

Thank you to the people who actually was kind and cool with things, and if the post offended you which it must have to some of you, then simply ignore it.

I hope the negative reaction from some doesn't put you off posting in future.

It's just very rude and malicious. Not ever person can have the extensive knowledge they have, plus the immaturity is unreal.

As I don't have much knowledge on the value of the majority of the items that will be posted on here I won't be posting much, only due to that though, I also doubt I have much worth mentioning on here in terms of my own possessions so I won't be posting much because of them reasons. Nothing to do with the arrogance and negativity frome
some of the posters.

Also to answer as to why I've not opened it to look upon information inside. I daren't open it myself as I don't want to
further damage it myself as it is VERY fragile. But yes it is mine. I wouldn't take the negativity on someone else's behalf haha.

If you found anything in your uncles basement, it would not belong to you but your mom or dad. Its odd that you can snoop in the your uncles basement but cannot open a programme to see who the teams are.
So now you have got your FREE valuation i hope you are going to give it to them. GOOD LUCK on selling it Shake

Oh it's just I didn't realise you could tell your uncle who he could give his belongings to. You obviously know more about how I got the programme than me am I right? If you must know I was helping him clear out, we stumbled across it and he told me I could keep and see if I could get any money for it as I'm moving abroad in April.

It's a case of the product being fragile and if it is worth anything which I was hoping you guys may know the approximate value without needing to look into. I then would of left it to a professional or auction to look through it.

Please can people at least try and be polite to each other.
If you don't like a certain post for whatever reason just don't answer it.
OP. try not to let some of the replies put you of posting in the future.
