If anyone on here knows anything about old subbuteo sets can they pm me please? I think I have come across something quite hard to find it is a 1949 set boxed.

Yes, it's enormous in Italy, I sold a photo of Stanley Matthews playing Subbuteo to an Italian bloke last year. Probably got his details somewhere.

I've still got all my Subbuteo stuff from the early 70s boxed up in my father's garage. Forgot all about it till this thread.

Now I remember how frustrating the floodlights were. They just wouldn't ever work.
