The following lots are being sold on behalf of Auchinleck Talbot Regeneration Committee. The committee has been set up to regenerate Beechwood Park (more commonly known as the Berna Beechwood amongst the Talbot faithful) and make what is already one of the best Scottish Junior grounds in the country into something even better.

F.A.Cup Final newspapers

1969 Leicester Mercury 4 page special supplement £2

1949 Illustrated Leicester Chronicle - 4 outer pages of the paper, complete with team photo on front £4

1949 Sports Souvenir Wembley Souvenir 12 page special, includes photos of both teams, photos of fans going to, and at Wembley, plus full report £10

1961 Evening Standard Cup Final edition, Spurs do the Double £5

1961 The Evening News Wembley Special, photos of both teams to cover £5

Other newspapers

Daily Mail, February 7th, 1958, Munich crash reported by Peter Howard "reporting from the scene within an hour of crawling from the wreckage" You couldn't get more up to date than this, full paper. Harrowing £15.

1960-1 Ipswich Evening Star Championship Souvenir paper. 8 pages on glossy paper, with drawing of title winning team in a spaceship (remember these were the days of Sputnik) Stunning. £5

1968 Ipswich Football Star "Champs again!" £2

Postage on all papers is £1.20 due to their size.

I also have about 15 or 16 Blackpool Green Un's from the 1956-7 season @ £3 each. If you have any particular wants I'll see if I've got them.
