Do many people take it one step further than having a spreadsheet, and have scans of all the programmes in their collection?

I know some obviously scan some of their items, evidenced by flickr sites and the like, but does anyone have scans of everything?

Was wondering if I could somehow link my spreadsheet to a database of scans of the front covers.

Yes I am already bored over the Christmas holidays, I'm sure I could be putting my week off work to better use! Cool

At just over 500, my collection is modest compared to some on here!

Would be easy enough to scan your progs onto Flickr, say, then insert a hyperlink in the spreadsheet to link directly to the scan.

I've done that with Word documents.

Even if I wanted to I couldn't scan all my programmes in - reason being that there are 11.5 seasons of "The Ram" newspaper programme....and they don't fit on a scanner!

Try investing in a A3 scanner Steve, that will do the job......

Re Scans, my entire collection (well almost) have been scanned, programme covers, match reports league & cups, pictures of every player from 1946
who's played for Pompey.
Cartoon's from Plum re the old Football Mail,
The list goes on and on, at present over 800Gb of items.

Scan I'm after is the postponed Middlesbrough v Pompey 65/66 and any
trial match teamsheets Blues v Reds from the war to 1961.
I have only 3.
Also interested in any 50's, early 60's scanned or orignal match reports v pompey.

Happy New Year to everone

I have scans of all my programmes on my pc. Mainly because I've uploaded them onto a friends website that I'm helping update ( www.uptheposh.com )

If any one wants a scan of any of them, just ask!

Likewise I'm always looking to put on scans that I haven't got if anyone is feeling kind!

It's my aim. Over 2,000 items on my flickr account and it will increase next year. Not sure when it will all be finished but i've had over 1,000 views today so somebody must be interested!

I've had 30+ views of a run-of-the-mill Alma Swanley FC programme in the last few days........makes me genuinely wonder why that item generates such interest!!

It's my aim too.

It'll take a while - but seems worth it when you looking at the viewing figures.

Seems a great way of sharing your collection with others - especially the more unusual items.

Some of the flikr collections on there are amazing

I'm in the process of scanning all mine. Up to 91/92 homes at the moment.

Wishing I had an A3 scanner though!

Have a look
