Have picked up a single sheet dated 8-11-1972 in Greek which I think is for Olympiakos v Spurs in Europe but cant find any copies on Ebay or any dealers lists.
It is folded and has a slight water stain and looks to have age to it but I have no idea if it is original or if it has any great value, any clues anyone ?

Six weeks later, in darkest Northampton, one sold for £320.

Therefore it appears you've done rather well.

The original issued in Greece on matchday was actually pink in colour. The white example you have (and also sold at the two auctions mentioned on this thread) were later copies produced in the UK (albeit still dating from the 1970s).

Unfortunately its difficult to tell as I remember somewhere there were alot of copies due to the fact its a single sheet of paper. I don't own this one myself so I can't help. I wonder if theres a way to date the paper??? Im surprised that reprints sell for so much when the original goes for not much more.

I sold a white copy - (slightly stained, folded - in fact almost the same as in your picture) about 6 or 7 years ago for £10. I told the purchaser at the time he could have a refund in the future, if he found it to be a copy.

From what I remember the paper its printed on was very heavy and rough to the touch.

Indeed, but they don't appear to be have been sold under the proviso they were copies.

The paper is quite thick and heavy and rough to the touch.

Will bung it on Ebay and see what happens, anythings a profit and may get enough to get some of these cheap pre war programmes everyone keeps going on about !!!

I know it sounds stupid but you could always try putting 'Tottenham Hotspur' as well as just 'Spurs' in the title. That way you will surely get more people viewing the programme as currently missing out on anybody that would search for the term Tottenham.

Good idea, I have put it in the description but if anyone does not search that they may not pick it up, will change it and see.

Okay, so this appears to have been a copy, white with black writing,

the original is pink, as has previously been mentioned.

gkb sells his for a mouthwatering 99p.

The auction houses sell theirs for £200 plus.

How does that work then?

Very badly for me in answer to your question !!

So much for having unearthed a bargain I have managed to lose money on the bundle I bought it with !!!

I am pretty surprised I have to say, I have no idea if the version I was selling was a copy but based on what was said on this thread and the sales you unearthed it looked identical to what was sold by the auction house at £200+

It had 75+ views and 16 people were watching it at the close but just the 1 solitary bid so pretty disappointing really.

Interestingly in the last couple of days 2 pink copies have appeared on Ebay, one at £350 with a bid and one at buy it now for £499, guess I just got the common copy.

Interestingly if you compare the 2 pink issues being offered they are each a very different shade of pink so dont know if there were different shaded copies originally issued but for several hundred quid I would be wary.
