can someone explain why every single pre war Everton/Liverpool programme seems to have a sellotaped edge? It is amazing. Of course some haven't but an incredible amount of them do.

EX BOUND VOLUME PROBABLY AS THE PAPER IS SO THIN ONCE REMOVED THE FRONT COVER WOULD SEPARATE FROM THE BACK PERHAPS.

Leslie is right. Its more so before the early 30's. I have quite a few pre-war Everton homes, none have sellotape as I try and avoid them.

There do seem to be a lot of ex-bound volume editions about.
