Man United enjoy ref advantage - Man City's Patrick Vieira

Manchester City executive Patrick Vieira believes title rivals Manchester United benefit from receiving key refereeing decisions at home.

His comments come two days after visitors Fulham were controversially denied a late penalty in their 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford.

The result left United three points clear at the top of the league.

"I think when you go to United, Madrid, Barcelona, or Milan, when the referees referee these kind of games, it's always difficult to go against these kind of teams.

Saw it on the news this morning - unless the BBC are up to their usual tricks I didn't see / hear any misrepresentation...........

Perhaps not but the interview was solely meant to be about a Vieira's charity work for Football Against Hunger and they totally bypassed the main purpose of the interview and instead decided to just write about his one comment on the decisions big clubs in general seem to get.
