Anyone bought stuff from the guy in France? He sells good programmes but takes an age to send them . To be fair he does warn estimated within 13-25 working days . I wonder if he is a ex pat who took his collection with him. He once offered me a tenner for Sunderland v Manchester United 1952, so he has a sence of humour....

If it's the same guy I've bought off him on a few occasions and never had a bum deal. Stuff usually turns up in good time as well.

Gregiore1959 or something like that?

I bought a programme off him a while back, took an age to arrive and didn't have a hard back.

He told me they don't do hard backed envelopes in France (unlikely in the age of globalization) you must not get cardboard and scissors either?

To be fair this was a few years ago.

Bought 2-3 items from Geoff.
Never had any problems, with time or packing.

Top bloke.

Qu'est ce que c'est a Les Emirates ce soir? Les Gunnerssont whupping it up les hommes de Milan! Je pense que ce jour might etre un real shock sur les cards? Ce n'est pas over depuis le grand dame chant after tous!

John, is this Scottish, French or a mixture?

I've had no problems buying from Geoff. Sometimes prompt, sometimes not so prompt. Always quality items though.

Oh, I see. On reflection, it does make more sense than the Geordie twang used up the road.

after all the recent negativity and name calling in the forum, it's nice to see a bit of common sense and normality return. Sad

About two years ago I bought three programmes from him and after asking for the revised postage rate, the reply was that he couldn't combine postage.
He then sent all the programmes in one envelope after charging me three rates of postage.
I will never bid on his items again.
Other than that he's probably a great guy.

There's another one in France - Pascal Collardey. I bought 2 items from the 1945 War Cup Final - first class.

He also has his own website - may be worth looking at.......

Website address for Pascal Collardey:

http://collardeypascal.jimdo.com/contact/

He has a 'doubles list' on there, but i think his site is mainly for his collection. However, after I won the items on Ebay I emailed him and asked about some specific items, played in France - he didn't have them but he replied in a couple of days so could be worth a try.

happy hunting
