What have you done in the pre season?

Job Hunting
Watching the tour de France live on the TV (really got into it and found myself knowing which riders are on which team and which ones are better on the mountain areas etc)

I've been busy writing the scores on the front of my programmes then gluing them into a scrapbook for each season. Its taken me a little longer than I thought because I had to cut out most of the pictures from inside them to put on my bedroom wall. Anyway I've done all the war time and late 40's now so it should be plain sailing from here on in

Keep at it Chris, I knew a bloke once called 'Jack' who asked his mate 'Jim' how he managed to get a blistered thumb. Jim replied 'that he'd spent all night putting his football programme collection from the 30s and 40s into folders'. When Jack replied 'that didn't explain his blistered thumb'. Jim pointed out 'that after pressing down the hole puncher a few hundred times it bloody well did'. A true story, but the names have been changed to protect the unfortunate individual concerned.
