Phil.

I'm really happy at paying just over £100 for this, its in superb condition, and as you say it really is a snip at that price. The last time I saw it on sale it was priced at £275. Happy Days!!

Not really a 'finally obtained' but having got to the stage where I don't pick up many Burnley programmes - I can probably hope for 10-15 reserves a year, I have actually picked up 4 'pirates' in the space of a week! I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea but at least they give me something else to collect. I have 34 Burnley pirates now, ranging from 1947 to 1974.

I picked up the final programme I needed from Bolton's 77/78 Div 2 title winning season recently.
It was a pre season friendly at Troisdorf that I had only seen once on ebay and it sold for £37.
The auction ended when I was away for the weekend with no internet access.I put in a bid of £30 before going away and was pleasantly surprised to get home and see I'd won the auction for under a fiver.
The programme is an impressive 76 pager and taught me something i didn't know about Bolton's history - there was an FA Cup semi at Burnden Park between Everton and West Brom in 1907.Nice.

The other programmes from that tour of Germany are easy to obtain, plenty of them came back with the club tour. There's a photo of 4 coaches leaving Burnden for Germany in one of the home progs.

Finally picked up the inter v liverpool 1965 euro cup semi final programme. £83 and in very good condition. These seemed to have come down a good bit in the past year.

Get in there!!

Finally got a copy of Leeds v Rotherham 54/55, that's all homes for league and main cups back to that season. (with the exception of a single sheet that went for £1100+ at Cameo's a week or so a go, a copy will do me).

Thanks indirectly to Clive for pointing me in the right direction.

Now the wants lists becomes that little bit harder & expensive. Anyone got any Leeds homes pre 1955?? Ideally at £1 each Wink

New signature

Newest programme wanted:
12-10-1976 Walthamstow Avenue v Wimbledon (London Senior Cup)

I also picked off one of my 7 missing major competition homes (back to 1960) and a handful of other aways, and all cheap as chips, 4 off e-bay and 2 from a dealer's list. A good week Smile

Picked up 3 Burnleys off eBay this week - 1 Youth Cup, 1 Lancs Youth Cup and best of all a Lancs Senior Cup tie v. Bury 1n 1960/61. The seller didn't realise what it was and listed it as an ordinary Reserve game. Result! Smile

My good run continues.

Another of my "didn't know if it existed or not" ones.

Beighton MW v Worksop, Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup Final at Hillsborough from 1952.

Single sheet, great item.

Just bought the 1959 FAI Cup final replay on ebay for £7.51. Guy had listed it incorrectly. It went for over £60 about 2 months ago (I dropped out at £40)
