Hi, I saw this article on tge Celtic football programs website. I purchased this programme recently. Can anyone confirm that this is still a very rare issue or have more copies come into circulation since the 2007 price quoted. I don't recall seeing many on eBay but know that cameo auctions sold one about a year ago for I believe in excess of £250. Many thanks

Probably the rarest Celtic/Man United postwar programme. Very rarely ever offered. Match organized by Group Captain Leonard Cheshire V.C., D.S.O., D.F.C., in aid of Cheshire Homes. The United team included Duncan Edwards & Tommy Taylor, while Celtic had Charlie Tully, Bertie Peacock & Bobby Evans. Celtic 2 v Manchester Utd 2.
£186.00 on 03-Apr-07 for a well-read copy with creases, a vertical fold and the score on front.

Still a sought after item and not too many seem to turn up. One did on ebay earlier this year the seller used my image which he removed from my website[without asking any permission] but what was worse is that he was using my image to sell his item but refused to state on his auction that the copy he was selling was not the image he was using!. The item was sold eventually but i recall it was around 250-300 not that sure as i lost interest when he refused to send a scan of what he was selling, I never bothered to see if feedback was left so do not know how it ended up. This item has dropped in value as 10 years ago it was trading around the £450-550 mark, but the price has come down a lot since then, hope this assists. I am still looking for a ticket from this game and would pay well to find one for sure! can anyone assist at all? www.flickr.com/photos/manchesterunitedman1/ Wave

Forgot to point out it is not from 1957-8 season but was played on the 16th April 1956 which was 2 days after United played a league game and 5 days before the next one to end up First Division Champions.

Well that certainly is a low price for sure, what has been the condition of the programme for this kind of pricing?, complete-clean-considered to be in a good condition?or the opposite?. For that kind of price £150 in a clean, complete and generally good condition I will pay that!-you have a spare for sale then?.
