It went at a hammer price of 10,000 you would then have comission/VAT to add which would be another 13.8%

Gee Whiz Went to that match in horse drawn Cart ,and programmes were sold out ,when we got there.There was trouble on the East Lancs turnpike if I recall,as an oxen cart had overturned ,straw all over the place. Never mind at my age its no use having regrets!

Naturally would expect no folds in the programme due to its age

Interestingly there is a chap that I know of in Aberystwyth who has every fa cup final original and pirate every fa cup semi final original and pirate + a spurs collection which at the time (4 years ago) needed just 3 to complete...remarkable. When i was speaking to him i seem to remember him saying that he had around 4-6 people working for him around the world looking for the 3 programmes !!!

I just hope I get a good price for it as been trying to shift it for a while now. Picked it up at a car boot sale a few years back for £1 but did manage to knock the old boy down from £1.75.

Will let you all know how it goes.

Since FA Cup Final programmes were first ever produced?

I wonder how much his collection is worth!

I remember selling some items to a bloke whose address was Cambrian Tyres in Aberystwyth.

My memory is hazy as it was atleast 3 years ago. How long ago did you speak to this person because if its the same person then they might have passed on to the other side. As in Dead not collecting Rugby programmes.

I spoke to neville evans(cambrian tyres) about three years ago...checked his website... Doesnt seem that hes passed away although one of his employees did die recently in a motor cycle accident..ill send them an email to see if they can help me with some scans im after

So was Mr Evans still alive, I think some of his collection is being held at the national football musuem at the moment.
