I assume given the state of your club Craig, that Man City are funding his wages.

Look forward to him playing against us, I am sure he has never played against Norwich since he left in 2000.

Paul,

Nothing is public but the way Bellamy and Dave Jones were thanking Man City during todays press conference i suspect they are paying the majority of his £90,000 a week wages! Maybe City are paying £15-£20,000 but no more. There are even rumours that Man City are paying the whole lot.

Weve bought in some very good experiences players on loan the last two weeks and im expecting Lee Naylor and CHris Riggott to sign before the week is out aswell so now really excited about the season ahead.

Our financial problems do seem to be behind us and the new Malaysian owners are working their way through the historical debt left by Ridsdale. I believe were now totally up to date with HMRC, recently weve settled debts with Sunderland and Charlton and Motherwell will be paid within the next 7 days then. There are a few more small debts but these will be cleared as they pop up but then it will be time to concentrate on the historical debt of £15m that was left by Sam Hammam.

ps Sousa is a Fox

See my above post. They will be paid this week! Did anyone see their Chairman live on Sky Sports News this afternoon - what an absolute loony he is!! He kept saying how wrong it is that Cardiff are signing all these players - when infact all weve done is make a few loan signings!

It is wrong that Mothwell have had to wait so long for their £200k though but thats due to the shocking way in which Peter Ridsdale ran this club and is now being sorted out by the current regime.

I am really pleased that Cardiff fans have something to smile about again.

I had many sleepless nights worrying about the long term effect the play off final defeat had on those who thought they only had to turn up at Wembley to achieve Premier League status. Must have been devastating to lose to a 'little' club. Laughing

That Motherwell chairman is a right one to talk. He ran Zoom Airlines which went bust owing millions of pounds and left holidaymakers stranded all over the world !!!!

Regardless of the Motherwell Chairman’s previous business dealings which of course have nothing to do with the club, it is shocking that they have had to wait so long for what is, in English Championship terms, a paltry sum of money. English football really is f’cked, £90k a week for Bellamy is lunacy, what happens when Cardiff’s Malaysian owners get bored and walk away? As for Sam Hammam, another foreign idiot who was only ever in it for his own gain (and I speak as a Wimbledon fan).
