Plenty of Rovers 40s at Auction yesterday fetched anything from £50 to £250 each.

Thats a very hard one to find Rocky, the last copy i saw on ebay fetched around £35 i believe, many Rovers collectors have it on hteir wants list

Yes, I was outbid at the very last moment on that one and have regretted it ever since. It's one of only two I need to complete that season. I can't understand why it's so scarce.

Only a 19000 attendance for the game, what was the average at Ayresome Park tha season? Often low attendances are a reason for rare programmes.

The average for that season was 21,000 and the two previous home games attracted 20,000 crowds. Theres's nothing to indicate a lower print run was required for this game and it was played on a Saturday. One or two programmes always prove to be difficult to obtain from a season but there's usually a reason why. For this one there doesn't appear to be any specific reason.
