Football Programmes Centre

I am looking for some advice. Following the demise of a member of my distant family I have been left a box of football programmes. Mostly but not exclusively Manchester City dating from the late fifties/early sixties through to the late seventies (approx) there are also a few European games involving Liverpool/Everton and the like. In the box are some programmes from a local side Grove United when they played the bigger clubs in pre-season friendlies, testimonials etc. He was a mad keen football fan of no particular club he just went to any large games in the North West. I have a set of 1966 World Cup programmes ( all the England games including ticket stubs) that I will keep for posterity! They all seem to be in reasonable condition about 100-200 in all. What is the best way to sell them & can anyone tell me what they could be worth if anything? I know that this is the impossible question without archiving & listing each one individually, is it worth going to that extent? Having no idea (my hobbies are fishing, mountain biking & rugby) and being a member of forums for my pastimes I know that they are usually the best place to get an honest unbiased appraisal. Thanks.

There are some very knowledable people on this site, including several Man U, Man City, Liverpool and Everton fans.

You would help a lot of people out on their collections if you listed them on here, and I'm pretty certain you would get some fair offers on price.

NOTE- I collect games at Hillsborough and Bramall Lane so odds are you can't help me, but just a general wish for the fellow collectors on here.

Like Jim says there will be plenty of people on here who could help you out with valuations and the like, and chances are if you've got some good items there you'll be able to sell them here too.

Might be best if you list what you've got so that people are able to tell you what they're worth.
