When you say two covers, you don't mean a mistake at the printers and a cover was placed over another cover ?

Barnsley v Everton 1963 FA Cup - had 2 covers
Oldham v Everton - Friendly 1982(?) - I believe Oldham often have 2 covers - something Everton did recently v Portsmouth.

Looks like 2 covers have been put on by mistake, although I have seen a programme similar where a rescheduled date cover was placed over a postponed date cover. Is this the case?

The Halifax Town v Notts County 1964/65 programme had two different covers, one black/white and one blue/white, the programmes earlier in the season up to the Notts Co home all had blue/white covers, the printers used up the rest of the blue/white covers they had pre printed in stock for the Notts County match and when they ran out made the remainder up with the new black/white cover programmes which they then used until 1967, i'm not sure what percentage of each was printed or how many but they both sell for about £60

FYI

Every Oldham home 74/75 has three different covers and every Oldham home 87/88 has up to 3 different covers.

Wullie, you maybe able to help on this. Sunderland v Watford March 85 had two covers, one colour and one b/w, is one of these rare as I have both but have no idea why one is b/w?

I don't think the b/w copy is rare, i've seen plenty about. Don't know what happened there. Maybe the printers just ran out of coloured ink.

Regarding the Everton aways do you have more details of the two copies?

I was aware the Oldham FAC replay 89/90 has two front covers but which Oldham friendly has two covers?

Also, I have the red cover Barnsley one, which is the other?
