Help with a 1953 Wolves v WBA single sheet programme

Hi can anybody help confirm the match for a single sheet programme I have for a Wolves v WBA Floodlit football match played Tuesday 24 March 1953 at 7.15pm at the Cross Keys ground Hednesford. The programe is all yellow in a thin card. The teams and match details on one side and blank on back. Is this a reserve game or perhaps a friendly or a county cup ? thank you

Hi mate,can defo confirm for you the game was : A Friendly (O.L.) Opening of Floodlights Wolves winning the fixture 4-2, data taken from Book The Wolves An Encyclopaedia of Wolverhampton Wanderers by Tony Mathewes(with Les Smith) .Phil.

I would assume that this is a (very) rare programme. Played at a neutral ground, you're going to have the friendly collectors, WBA collectors, Wolves collectors, and maybe a dealer or two after it. Although I haven't seen that programme before, if I was selling that privately I would be hoping for at least £40 for it, and probably a lot more? Might be used as an excellent exchange for some of your own programme requirements...
