Good afternoon! I am planning my first visit to Barcelona in the near future and my head is already spinning from all the planning. The city is so big and multifaceted, and as always, time is short. Please advise me on the most iconic places that shape the image of the city. I want to spend my time wisely, rather than rushing between all the points in the guidebook. What should I focus on?

A very sound approach is to strive for quality experiences rather than quantity! Personally, I think that it is impossible to understand the atmosphere of Barcelona without contrast: you definitely need to combine Gaudí's grandiose architecture with the coziness of old neighborhoods like the Gothic Quarter or El Raval. And don't forget to set aside time just to watch the city life while sitting at a table in the square — it's priceless.

To plan a quality itinerary and not miss the main attractions, I recommend starting with a detailed guide to the city's top sights, which includes an overview of the ten most iconic places in Barcelona. This will give you a clear picture and help you prioritize between Gaudí's masterpieces, the historic center, and the waterfront. To make the most of your time and not waste it waiting for public transport between often distant attractions, it is very wise to use the taxi booking service through Kiwitaxi, especially when traveling with luggage or late at night https://kiwitaxi.com/en/guide/barcelona/barcelona-top-attractions-guide . This way, you can focus on the experience rather than the logistics.
