I've just read on twitter that Manchester United fan and renowned collector has passed away.

RIP Ray, my sincere condolences to your family and friends.

I enjoyed many email conversations with Ray about our hobby and it's different characters.
Always happy to help and offer advice. One of the good guys.

Sad news, Ray wasn't everybody's cup of tea but I'd be lying if I said I didn't sometimes laugh out loud at some of the stuff he'd write. RIP fella.

RIP Ray. Condolences to family and friends. I think even the fish & chip merchants would begrudgingly raise a glass in your memory.

... and the 'Bedroom Bandits' Phil!

Very Happy

Used to talk to Ray occasionally on Flickr about our respective sites & collecting, I might not have always agreed with him, but he almost always made me laugh.
