I think it is unlikely to be Irish. Background is not like any of our stadiums.
They could be from anywhere.

Well, the obvious guesses are Cheltenham Town and Crawley Town but as far as I can see it's definitely neither of them. Also checked Crook Town but they always wore halved shirts similar Wycombe W, with no obvious badge.

There must be more......

They look like professionals. Looks like quite an empty stadium , so could have been called together for a photo with the cup. My guess would be France or ltaly. There is a team in France named Chateau- Thierry F C. Don’t know much about them but could be them?

I was thinking it could be Brazil. The badge style looks South American eg Futebol Clube used for Clube de Futebol in Portuguese eg SPFC style badge.

I have asked my friend for any other info he has to help identify it.

There are only five places in the world with a town called Neville
Two are in America
Two in Normandie
One in Australia

One of the two in Normandie is at Cherbourg Octeville

Not sure if that helps
