1960s press photo: who are these players?

This may not be the right thread, but I’m not a regular poster, so I’ll plead forgiveness.

I’ve picked up a few Swansea press photos lately, but one of the pictures appears to be an outlier. Early 1960s I’d say and the photo agency is Manchester-based.

The board game is Germanic and apparently still going, I confess I’d never heard of it.

Any ideas who the the players are?

This is weird, I can see it on my phone (Android) but not my PC (Google Chrome).

Anyway, not arguing with Flaming Pie but my first thought was Man City and on the right, Barry Betts. Not sure on the other.

Hi Pete, don’t know if this helps but here’s a copy of the photo Niallo put up.lf you get to see it the German football table top game that Viollet and Brennan are playing in the shot looks an early edition of it. Someone is selling a later version of it on eBay for £99..

I tend to agree, there must be a strong chance they’re United or City players.

I’ll have to get my old Soccer Star magazines out to see if I can place their mugshots.
