Is this a Football Ground?

I have recently acquired this British original postcard.

It looks like a Football Ground type scene?

Does it ring any bells with anyone?

I'd be surprised if it was a football ground, simply because football tended to be cash admission through turnstiles, and it wasn't normal practice to have ticket windows. The only exception might be somewhere like the old Crystal Palace grounds.

It's a shame there aren't any more clues - there are so many places where it was necessary to buy a ticket to gain admission.

I guess the lack of uniforms will rule out train stations, but it could be anything from an amusement park to swimming baths.

That’s a tough one. Not many clues. I see someone has got a dog with him, so probably not waiting to go in for a match. Dog or whippet racing type of stadium? Could be somewhere like a boxing stadium ( Liverpool?) where trade union leaders would sometimes have a gathering ( no cheese and wine!) and talk about stuff. I’m a bit like you, l buy photos and then try and work out who and where? Looks like Butch Cassidy far right
