This hobby never ceases to throw up new items ( as far as I am concerned).

The following is the Sheffield United v Yorkshire ?

Are there any Blades fans out there who can shine some light on this?

Not a Blades fan but this would be Sheffield United 'A' v Yorkshire Amateurs, so in effect probably the Blades 3rd team.

I don’t know if you can make out the remarks about the referee, but they are not complementary.

It reads,.....

“ Worst referee we have had! Conditions were absolutely terrible. Could not see Players for heavy rain.Referee gave United two goals which hit the upright and went across the goalmouth. Disallowed a goal of ours, and gave away a penalty for the same, which was missed.”
