most on this forum will realise that it is a reproduction,but it has already attracted 2 bids standing at £20.99 for an item that is hard to sell for £1.50.

He is a business seller with over 15,000 trades.Why don't you drop him a message an explain something that he clearly has not realised.That would be the decent thing to do would it not?

I did that first showing genuine item and describing the differences to no avail, I do not like to think a collector will be taken in by this reproduction.

You have done the right thing.You can do no more imo.If he has ignored your message then 15,000 trades or not he has to be put on a blacklist

Provided you are absolutely sure that this is a reproduction - to me it looked authentic. Assuming it is a repro then someone has fraudulently added the score in pencil. That is a serious matter.

Over the years I have pointed out mistakes to sellers Some are genuinely grateful others do not reply - the ones who are never wrong.

You seem to have done the right thing. To a collector the two are different when compared together. On its own it looks okay. How many collectors who have only seen the one of offer would have guessed it was a fake. The fact that 'someone' has added the score in pencil has elevated this from an error to downright fraud.

I see it was ended without any bids as two were retracted after your commen on here. Please let us know if this materialises again.

Both bids were current they were cancelled when the seller ended the listing. Interesting that one bidder was prepared to pay £55.55.
