A Long Shot

Is there any Historians out there who could help with the following please. In 1978-79 Bradley Walsh(The Chase) was on loan to Barnet and according to statistics, made 5 appearances(no goals). Does anyone know who these games were against? At the time, Barnet were in the Southern League(last season before the APL started) A fellow Barnet fan, thinks the games were only friendlies or midweek premier games and not SL games. Does anyone have records, or know where else I can look. I have tried the SL, but they have no records.

Maybe a wacky idea but why dont you write to Bradley to see if he can remember. Sometimes players keep programmes or records from the matches they played.

I have supported Barnet for 50 years and worked on the SA Committee when they had one. I even probably attended the games, but being nearly 40 years ago, so many players came and went around that time, the name then wouldn't have meant anything. A while ago, I sold my entire programme collection, so I can't check back at the line-ups for all the games that season. The old BFCSA website doesn't give player details that far back.

LOL still got 12 goals as a 38 year old, doesn't look from that like he played much of the second half of the season.

He always says leaving Spurs was the biggest mistake he ever made and fell out of love with the game after that.

Wander if Walsh and Greavesie played together then?

Thinking about i could imagine you should be able to contact Walsh directly via social media and ask him which games he played in
