Festive bargain!

Five fixture lists encased in mock leather covers, plus four that have either never had them or have become detached from them. At an average of £5 each they're for sale as one lot for just £45 postage included.

One of my faves is this fixture poster which was a buy it now from Bob Frank and Elvis

picture isn't great but you get the idea

(I've shown it on here at least a couple of times before)

I have now framed it too

would have paid 3 or 4 times what it cost me if I'd had to bid for it

as soon as I clapped my eyes on it as a buy it now, I couldn't click through the payment pages of ebay quick enough

'Bargains' are few and far between to be honest, but I prefer not to worry too much about the price if I really value and want the item. If I know I'll still love and treasure something in 10, 20 years and wouldn't sell it for anything, then who cares if you've paid more than common sense would say something is worth! Its worth it to you Smile

And with that, a happy Christmas to one and all Thumbs Up[img][/img]

Villa v Dundee United in Atlanta in 1969 off eBay. Outrageously badly described in the title and stumbled on it and got it for £40 probably because very view people realised what it was.

Also bought a box of Villa homes from the 70's at an auction that had had the Europeans and Cup Ties removed for £25. Thankfully the Villa v Chesterfield and Villa v Carlisle postponed games from 71/72 and 73/74 respectively were still in there! The last Chesterfield one on eBay went to a mate for £135 and the Carlisle one is about half of that!

Sweet!

I picked up a signed Scotland shirt and ball from 2004 for £19 when it ended in Christmas Eve, not bad.

Mind you, over the last month or so I’ve picked-up three match worn Scotland shirts for less than £50 each (one from the former team Chef), people not really understanding the value of what they have or badly describing them.
