I've long been struck by the absolute charm of these star badges, just a shame that my club were never featured.

Love that Blackpool badge site, lovely layout as Leslie rightly pointed out.
Would love to do something similar for my Newport badges.

Yes, Dave spent many hours putting that site together and uploading all known Blackpool badges.

Great reference for Blackpool fans/collectors like me.

I know a Villa fan who has hundreds or even a thousand or so of these, I visited him once and he showed me them in a drawer, all lined up and looking up out of the drawer. Fantastic display but not digital at all, he rarely uses a computer. And my phone didn't have a camera then so I couldn't take a pic.

Looking at the stats for John Kaye it is most likely him. Only easy to decipher if you know your WBA players - when I first looked at it I thought it was John Max - couldn't find him so settled on John Mann.

Thanks for the correction and the Specsavers observation - you're probably right on both counts.
