Just what I thought I was very surprised when I saw it and most connected to websites

I mentioned it but have given up now as a certain member was more interested in trying to be clever by showing silly little yellow faces and acting like a kid in the playground !!

It's really not worth the effort trying to be helpful

Nobody else seems to have mentioned this yet so ............... Have you looked at the profile of all these people that register everyday ............they all ( or most ) have a registered web site ......selling all sorts of crap ........ Shocked

Yes noticed all the websites but didn't want to risk clicking on one to see what they were about just in case there was some kind threat embedded.

I looked at about 12 or so , all were selling ........ anything but programmes, I see also that one or two that register dont even bother to add any details whatsoever, not even their location.......So why register if you dont intend to post on the forum .......as anyone can read the forum without registering Nod

Thanks "blue50" for the info ref spambot. . . . its no wonder I keep getting more and more e-mails full of crap offers recently, however when I click the scam and BLOCK icon , they still keep coming through from the same people. . . is there no way of stopping them arriving ??? and is it that the sweeping and blocking of these addresses does not work ??

I have enjoyed occasional visits to this site over the past 3 and a half years. I have found lots of items of interest and have been amazed at some of the threads , and learned a lot from many of the people posting. Recently, the last few weeks I have started to post, where I find I can contribute. I too do not like activity on the site which is against the spirit and not connected to our interest. I suggested there could be reasons why people did not post. However comments that are unhelpful and bordering on rudeness deter people from posting, and that is a pity. Incidentally Newcastle -Under -Lyme is not a bad little town. an
