Wondered whether anyone could help me out: I'm trying to get confirmation of whether certain progs on my wants list were issued, ideally via an image/photocopy of the prog in question, but am struggling on a few clubs.

Does anyone have, or know who might have, decent collections for Wakefield, Bramley, York or Rochdale that might be able to help out please? Drop me a PM or reply if you can help - any assistance much appreciated.

Is the next one at Huddersfield? heard a rumour its on grand final day which is ludicruss. Should be striking now well interest is there. Fair Organisers should be approaching clubs asking them if they want to put a fair on at their grounds.

Championship sides Leigh Bradford Sheffield Featherstone Halifax would possibly welcome a fair to their ground and keep them in public eye and spotlight and create a bit of awareness for them as clubs also. Super League sides need approaching also. Warrington Salford Hull Hull KR Wakefield Castleford Leeds would possibly all welcome a chance of hosting a fair. I stay away from council owned stadiums which is widnes and wigan. They possibly want too much money for hosting.Never know if don't try.

They used to alternate venues between Lancashire and Yorkshire. Ive been to the RL fairs at Odsal, Wakefield and Hunslet in the last few years.

Missed saturday as I was away. I saw someone picked up a 1909 programme so some decent stuff was available Smile

if there were 1950s Liverpool City items I'd be gutted.

That's all well and good my friend but why not capitalise on rugby league's growing popularity and interest in it while it's here and amongst people. Please do not tell me the next fair is grand final day in huddersfield when we've just had a really good fair at St Helens and as I say the interest is high at the moment for rugby league market as a whole. There must be some fairs between now and late september early october.

It will be the stall holders / dealers who decide when and where?
Judging by the reports it was a packed day, plenty of stalls and lots of variety in St Helens. i agree with EFC...host another at Saints in the next 2-3 months and build on the interest.
I'm sure RL could finally build on the interest in St Helens and push on into ....Liverpool!!!

It has always puzzled me slightly that Rugby isn't more popular in Liverpool. The answer probably lies in the school system where football is almost the only sport offered unless the school is private.

Pity really because I'm sure there are a few more James Grahams out there somewhere! Smile

A lot of scousers recognise with St Helens and support them and have adopted them as their team. They're are seen by rugby league teams now as a team that is bordering on scouse also. That is a good thing in my view for the game as our friend says its a huge mystery as to why the game isnt producing a world class young lad who is a scouser and has the world at his feet but with a rugby league ball. James Graham has done it I'm sure more would love a chance if they got one to emulate him.

Is this for a game against Warrington Pete? If so, what season?

(Seems this thread got hijacked by the St Helens fair for some reason!)
