Lancashire senior cup final 1941

Can anyone give me the Manchester United line -up from this game, i have used Google but have`nt had much luck so far, the Final was against Burnley, played at Turf Moor in front of about 10.000 fans, the reason i am asking is that Ray Simpson Burnley historian has been contacted by an elderly lady who`s husband, who`s name was Ronald Snowden played right back for Burnley that day, he has given me the Burnley line-up, but not United`s, Manchester United won the match 1-0 Ronald and the other Burnley players each received a small trophy, and as she lives very close to me in Cardiff, has asked to go and colect it as she wants to donate it to Burnley f c many thanks

No team line ups in DataSport or A Record of British WarTime Football books. Also, nothing in Soccer at War 1939-45 or Gas Masks for Goal Posts, that I can find.

The match was played on May 17th 1941.

A Manchester United supporter should know, I'm sure.

Breedon, Topping, Roughton, Warner, Porter, Whalley, Smith, Carey, Rowley, Pearson and Mitten.

Thanks to you both for your replies, it is really appreciated, there`s quite a few well known names in that United side, but because it was wartime sometimes you might find established names who played for other clubs playing for United and Burnley
