Sharrow, can't see the issue with this one.
At £1.99 with postage is very reasonable, it will cost at least £1 to post, plus the envelope etc and you are looking at 90 pence on the item, if that's robbery then I think you have a very different definition of the the term to me.
Each to their own though. _________________ Nuts and Bolts Web Design

When Sharrow posted the link just over an hour ago the teamsheet was listed at £5.99. Obviously BFE must read this site !! |

| Leaving aside the crazy prices it's impossible to take seriously a dealer who gets the basic descriptions of their programmes so wrong. Man City v Luton FA Cup 3rd round from Jan 1969 is advertised as "League Cup", a City v Arsenal league match from 1991 is also billed as a League Cup tie and those were just errors I spotted on a quick browse. There must be some real mugs out there if he's actually making sales at those prices. |
i think Arsenal did play at city in the league cup in 90-91...i may be wrong though |

I`ve got nothing against BF+E and have bought off them in the past when they used to action items (quite a while back now) but I wouldnt touch their buy-it-nows as I do find some of their pricing a bit over the top (yes I know they got overheads etc).

I find BF&E are fairly good at what they do & the odd bargain can be had, but I can get frustrated by their inconsistent pricing at times.
For instance you could buy this flawed issue for £4.19
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11-0.....5670ed48ba
or you could buy the same programme with no obvious faults for £2.99
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11-0.....487aafe7ce
I assume the pricing of a programme depends on whether it's B, F or E who puts the listing on Ebay? A different set of eyes with differing views on pricing. It's a difficult task for them. |

The link that JJ Programmes gives above to a BFE item on ebay has also had its price reduced since he posted the link half an hour ago...is this some sinister Orwellian move by them to send any critical postings of their pricing on here 'down the memory hole'? |

I know they are forum members, what they are trying to achieve with revising the price I'm not sure.
Funny, with regards to teamsheets I'd be nearly tempted to buy it at that price
Keep it up lads. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/sharrowblade/sets

sadly fully agree with you. I would buy several of their arsenal 1980s and 1990s teamsheets but not at their prices. A cost of £4-5 is just not reasonable. It would work out over £100 for a season. Not realistic.

B,F & E are consistent with their pricing, I have paid £3 for a semi hard to get 70's bu been pleased to pick one up from 1960 for the same price.
Regarding the dealers on these sites that sell stuff at 10X their value, it smacks of money laundering, probably not though. |

But that would tie in with all our addictions...
How many of us have been told that we're mad and in turn have tried to justify ourselves to our loved ones?!! |

That's an idea, give someone a false reputation as a criminal to make me feel good about myself, that might just work.

Money Laundering tax avoidance making money from programmes and not telling the tax man TUT TUT TUT 99% on here on here are guilty of that.
As for dealer overpricing they have a lot of overheads as for the part timers they dont have any overheads and still want top dollar for their run of the mill TAT. |
Thank God for all the honest and downright reasonable dealers who have NEVER bought and sold items for cash and not reported this to the HMRC. Salt of the earth. You have my respect. |
