I send everything freepost even recorded or special delivery which i take out of the final price, if ebay knew who was taking the **** with extortionate p&p why not charge just them instead of all of us???

I was a buyer long before becoming a seller, if you're a business seller on there no-one held a gun to your head...you knew the score and that's none of the buyers fault.

As a private seller i just re-use the envelopes while NEVER using any unfranked stamps that are there, i've been complimented on how well i pack things as some sellers can barely seal an envelope.

I have said it before but why doesn't E Bay just make everything "post free" in certain categories?

Seller's load the start price to include the P&P.

Simples.

But ebay charges a fee on postage prices now so no point. eBay still gets their money.

That's far too sensible an idea for it ever to get off the ground!

One point against including the cost of post in the price is that it obviously costs more to post to Australia than within the UK. If someone has exorbitant postal charges on something I'm interested in (often just their default postal rate) I'll contact them with 'how much would postage to xxx be' and as often as not you'll get a reduced quote, closer to cost price!
If I'm buying a £2 programme I don't wanna pay £4 postage to Ireland when I know it can be done for less than £2

E Bay will get their fee either way. Making P&P inclusive may make the seller think about how much they are charging for P&P.

For example, it is typical to see £1.99 plus £1.30 P&P for a run of the mill item which may or may not sell. Would the seller put the start price at £3.29 if P&P was inclusive? I doubt it.

Tried to transfer £80 from my paypal account into my approved bank account.

Now says it's pending waiting a review.

Rang them up and asked why ....they say it will take up to 48hrs for approval. This to eliminate fraud.

Used this system for years it's not a new account with paypal.

I don't get the problem they are seeing?
