Looking to find out the home grounds of the following clubs who appeared in the Birmingham Combination and Birmingham & District League in the late 1940's. Anyone know where they played?

Aston Villa ‘B’ 1947 to 50
Bedworth Town 1947-48
Birmingham City ‘A’ 1945 to 49
Birmingham City Transport 1945 to 50
Brush Sports 1948 to 50
Cradley Heath 1947 to 50
Coventry City ‘A’ 1945 to 48
Leicester City ‘B’ 1948-49
Rugby Town 1948-49
Saltley College 1948 to 50
Stoke City ‘B’ 1948 to 50
Walsall ‘A’ 1947 to 50
West Bromwich Albion ‘A’ 1946 to 49
Whitwick Colliery 1949-50

Thanks in advance for any help.

Aston Villa 'A' played their home games on their opponents ground with the odd game at Villa Park until December 1948 when they started to play their home games at Redditch.
I have Cradley Heath playing Villa at Dudley Wood Stadium in 1949.
I think most of the details you need can be found on the clubs websites.
Brush Sports were a Works team from Loughborough.
Think Birmingham played at Elmdon.

Were Rugby Town definitely in the Birmingham Combination during those years? I thought after being reformed post-war they were in a pan-Midlands amateur league and then the United Counties League... although they may have been running more than one team of course.
The played at the Oakfield recreation ground at that post-WW2 time.

A previous incarnation of Rugby Town in the 1920s and 30s did play in the Birmingham Combination though.

Your right. Rugby did not play in the Combination at that time. Look for details as it relates to a friendly encounter. Thanks for the info.
