What is a reasonable time to wait for an eBay payment. I sold three items recently . Two paid instantly and the other has still not paid. What is annoying is I like to post the next day payment has been made . So today I waited 15 minutes at the post office to post two items knowing I have got to do it all again in a few days for the third item, when the guy eventually decides to pay. It would be unfair to delay the two items until the third is paid for ( but I bet this happens often )

I send a second invoice after seven days and mark it "second invoice, payment outstanding" in the comments field. If they do not pay or respond after a further seven days I open an unpaid item case. Then they usually pay up.

The number of times you have to go to the post box or post office is just part of selling.

I would normally send a reminder about 4 or 5 days later after all it is only a hobby for most people and i don't remember a time when someone has not paid. Some people like to sort out payments once a week or only check ebay every few days or wait for other items to finish. No matter what you do it hardly ever works out that all buyers pay at same time. But in my experience everyone pays within a week or so.

On the flip side even if you pay instantly some sellers wait a few days before posting so then the irritation is on the other side.

Re standing in a Post Office queue - I'd happily do that every day if it meant I had an order every day.

Part & parcel of selling, as Martino said.

I automatically open a case after 7 days, they either pay up or I hear nothing at all which is usually the case.

Yes he paid. Not a massive problem just I like to tidy ends up quickly. when I buy or sell. Some people are more laid back. Some a little too laid back they need reminders which is wrong in my book.
