If this makes anything like what the dealers "command" I will eat my (admittedly less than perfect mint condition) spare copy of this "so seldom seen" item.

It's a nice programme but the vendor deals in over dramatising his programmes in the same way some dealers up their prices, to attract the highest price possible. It'll go for well into 3 figures - which is the object of his waxing lyrical about it.

very rare programme in perfect condition. How would you sell it ?
" programme for sale " ?To be fair, most experienced collectors have an idea what the guys programmes are worth, so really only a brief glance of the description is needed, looking for words like, fold, team changes, rusty staple, token removed, that sort of thing. The writing of the history of the game is pretty much irrelevent to a collector. But the guy is looking to sell to a wider audience, hence the history lesson... can't blame him.

I don't sell anything rare, but anythig I do sell I try and put as much factual information as possible into to catch all searches. For example I sold an English league v Italian league programme for a couple of quid to a Bologna fan because I listed the teams and the players involved (a couple from Bologna obviously)

I don't mind people putting as mush as they like into the description. Up to the buyer to decide for themselves if its useful or not

The text in all capitals is horrible on the eyes.
