A programme fair has now been confirmed and booked for Sunday 15th April at Macclesfield Town FC in the Mcilroy/Henshaws Suite on the Moss Lane side of the ground.

Start times are still to be confirmed but it is believed to be around 10 til 1 with 9 dealers already confirmed. I am not organising the fair but if anybody wishes to have a stall at this fair then I shall try and get you in contact with the organisers.

The venue is ideal for a programme fair as the suite runs the length of the pitch, there are seats and tables for anyone that needs them and a bar also.

Regards,
Matt

Cool, I'm not a dealer but I'd certainly attend being only just down the road!

Hopefully it will be a good attendance Smile

If it is successful then they are hoping to make the fair an annual event

Just realised I'll be on holiday for this one.

Gutted as it's only 10 minutes down the road from home.

Oh well, maybe next time! Cool

This was before the dealers were completely confirmed so it may have changed from then.

All the other information such as start times and admission prices will be correct though Smile

The blazers at the Scottish Junior Football Association, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that the Junior Cup semi final first legs will be played on a Sunday this year for the first time ever. With Auchinleck having their semi final first leg at Bonnyrigg Rose on Sunday April 15th, it means I'll now have to miss the Macclesfield Fair - one I was really looking forward to.

It's their biggest game for 30 odd years Tynie, and I reckon there'll be a huge crowd there including a good number of Hearts fans who saw us at Tynecastle in the Scottish Cup in January?
It's our third semi final in the last 4 seasons, and given our unequalled pedigree in this competition we'll be doing our usual preparations for the game as we try to head for a 10th win in the competition. Estimate we'll have about 1,000 to 1,200 fans there for this one, so should be a decent atmosphere. Still peed off about it being on a Sunday though, making me miss a new fair.
