A lad at work has unearthed a relatives collection and has tapped me for some values. The bulk is at Hillsborough so ok with those, but a few unusual bits as well, so would appreciate any advice.

Can't comment on condition or exact dates yet, as I haven't seen them, but if anything jumps out as needed further investigation, again, shout up.

Lincoln City v Accrington Stanley 1949
FA XI v Army @ Charlton 1949
Lincoln v Frickley Colliery 1949
Scunthorpe v Shrewsbury 1950
Scunthorpe v Bradford PA 1955
Blues v Reds Practice Match @ Millwall 1956

Hi Jim,

The Scunthorpe v Shrewsbury 1950 should be worth a few quid as I'm sure 1950-51 season was both team's first season in the league.
As for value, not sure but £50 at minimum and I wouldn't be surprised if it's worth double+.......

FA XI v Army @ Charlton 1949 can't see it being worth more than £6 - £8
Lincoln v Frickley Colliery 1949 reserves I assume? £12 - £15
Scunthorpe v Shrewsbury 1950 £50 plus as KCS says
Scunthorpe v Bradford PA 1955 £6 - £10
Blues v Reds Practice Match @ Millwall 1956 £2 - £3 (it's as common from the 1950's as 1953-4 Bristol Rovers vs Derby)

The Scunthorpe v Shrewsbury was actually both clubs first league match 19th August 1950. In Good condition should fetch around £125-£150 to the right buyer. The one listed on ebay the other day sold for £75.00 but was in quite grubby condition with sellotape marks etc
