Is it me or is Martin (Football didn't exist until the Premier League and the European Champions League was formed) Tyler like someone you sit next to at a game who never shuts up?

His constant rambling about something the player has done/assists or what the club is planning drive me crazy.

The only way you can have silence is at half time when you go for a pie.

Bring back Wolstenholme, Coleman and even Motson.

OK - rant over.

Some times wonder if these guys realise there was football before the Prem ,give me the good old sixties any day tackles from behind, when goal celebrations with a hand shake suficed, no rolling round in agony at the slightest tackle ,sad to say these days are gone for ever mores the pitty.

When pitches were mud heaps, and players never complained about playing twice a week

Timely comment about tackles from behind Phil. Rodwell would have to almost decapitate Suarez to get a dismissal back in the day!

Coming from the land of YTV, we had to put up with Tyler from the md 70's. That said, we also had the legend that is John Helm!

The best way to watch Sky football is with the sound off as they have some of the most annoying bunch of ********* ever i mean Alan Smith Gary Neville please, give us some entertainment Kammie works for you let him be the main commentator he is certinaly a person that the fans respect rather than the dour Alan Smith, and the always annoying Gary Neville

Is John Helm the guy who did the commentary on all of Wednesday's seasons review videos from the early 90's? I hate the way he pronounces Wednesday!! Mad

Agree with all comments. I would never pay to watch a Premiership game. In fact I wouldn't go even if I got offered a freebie.

Would go to a Non League game everyday of the week.

As for Martin Tyler. Yes he babbles on but he is a massive fan of Woking FC and went to Chester college in the early 1960's and went to watch Chester whilst there.

But all said and done he is only doing a job he loves and probably getting well paid for.

I bet there is nobody on here that would complain about getting paid for watching football. Got to be the best job in the world, though when your hear Alan Green you wonder if he realises how lucky he is.
