Stevenage v Scunthorpe

As a result of a the sister-in-laws partner being taking into hospital in Stevenage I found myself up there on Saturday afternoon and thought why not go and watch the match.

And in all honesty I wasn't disappointed, the admission was a little steep at £21 but this was for unreserved seating along side the pitch, the programme was priced at £3.00 and made a for a pleasant read on the 2 hour drive back home. The food was okay but a little pricey, the thing that impressed me most was the vocal support of both sets of supporters.

Scunthorpe probably brought 400-500 with them and they sang for the majority of the match as did the Stevenage fans on the opposite side of the pitch to where i was sitting in the impressive terrace that stretched the length of the pitch.

All in all a good day out and will hopefully enjoy another match in Stevenage before too long (hopefully not due to family members health issues though).
