My Autograph Collection

I have collected authentic autographs since April 1998 and have now around 9,000 authentic items, as my interests are sports, ( Football), Books, Music Politics and History My collection covers many sports,( lots of football) Authors, Musicians Politician and historic ones etc

I get most of my autographs through the post , and l have quite a few friends who help me out.l also try where possible to exchange. I dont buy that much, l dont trust e. bay , though l know there are bargins to be had

My football collection is vast and l try and put them in clubs or countries. I have a big World Cup Collection, though can only go back to 1950 where l have Tom Finney and Stan Mortensen from England. I dont l am afraid have any pictures of my collection,( dont have a scanner etc) but l have a list of of all the players l have in my World Cup collection if anybody is interested in seeing the list l will send it to them.

The Chelsea ones l have are:-Steve Kember, Jurgen Macho, Dimitri Kharine, Carlo Ancelotti, Dennis Wise,Gavin Peacock,Chris Sutton,Frank Lebooe, Gustavo Poyet,Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Eidour Gudjohnsen, Jason Cundy, Keith Hitchcock and Graham Le Saux. there are others l have , but they are in different folders like Joey Jones is in my Liverpool folder and the likes of Jesper Grønkær

I too have a load of signed menus and programmes , the oldest being a South Liverpool v Doncaster Rovers 23 04 51 friendly, signed by Peter Doherty former Northern Ireland and Man City player, who was manager when Norther Ireland where at the World Cup in 1958

Celticv sounds like a superb collection 95 % of my collection of autographs i have managed to get like your self through the post by writing to players if you are interested in any private address we can swap i mainly collect Chelsea but do collect Rangers and Scotland autographs as well .

Missed out today on an auto of the late great Derek Dougan ,supprised at the final price though i must say sold for £49.,

I sure did Mark,The Doog was an autograph hunters dream never but never refused to sign , i corresponded with him several times before his untimly passing signed numerous photos for me and i may add at no cost at all .not onley was he a true super star but a gentalman also.
