Question for Arsenal collectors

Is Bolton v Arsenal 20 Jan 1979 considered a rare programme?.
The match was postponed and a new programme issued in March.

I can find no info on a programme for that game.
Do you have it then?
And how much is it for sale.

There is a rare Bolton home postponed against Liverpool in February that season.The story behind that one is they never went on sale and the only programmes in existence come from people who worked at the printers.Perhaps Arsenal is the same.

In the fixture list in the Liverpool programme, the Arsenal match was re-scheduled for Tues 20 Feb, so there is possibly another Bolton v Arsenal programme dated 20.2.79 as well as 20.1.79.

Unfortunately can't help because i don't collect aways to any extent. However in general arsenal postponed issues are doing well at the moment at auctions. You could ask Chris Williams at Sportingold for an estimation. Also you could contact Andrew Miller ([email protected]) who knows pretty much everything there is to know about arsenal progs. Cheers

Thanks for the contacts Goonerboy.Andrew Miller was kind enough to offer his opinion.He asked to see a cover photo and said that he'd never seen one before and was interested in where it came from which I guess answers my question about it's rarity! Outside Bolton anyway.
